URGENT PRAYER REQUEST: Save Christian Mom Asia Bibi from Execution - A Christian mom has been sentenced to death in Pakistan for her faith. Asia Bibi was falsely accused of “blasphemy” – speaking against the prophet Muhammad. Now this wife and mother of five will hang for her Christian faith. She would be the first woman executed under Pakistan’s Shariah blasphemy law. This is the ultimate human rights violation. We’re mobilizing our international affiliate – the European Centre for Law and Justice – and its partner in Pakistan to stop this atrocity. Add your name to our letter to the government of Pakistan demanding Asia Bibi’s freedom.Go to http://aclj.org/persecuted-church/save-christian-mom-asia-bibi-from-execution; please add your signature to mine and over 35,000 others AND pray for Asia Bibi.

U.S. Supreme Court has Reconvened: Let's be praying WHENEVER the Court is in session as their decisions can have impact on GENERATIONS to come. The fact that they may have an opportunity this session to actually vote on same-sex "marriage" where it has the same impact on this country that Roe v. Wade did should be motivating enough!

ELECTION DAY, NOV. 4th.  Let's begin praying that the American people will have wisdom in voting into office those who will lead our communities and nation with integrity and wisdom from God and DO NO HARM!.

"Voting for Socialism?" -  Posted on October 1, 2014 by John Rabe; http://www.truthimpact.me/index.php/2014/10/voting-socialism/?utm_source=TruthInAction&utm_campaign=493f1d8469-10_7_14_October_eIMPACT&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_67fb03e2fb-493f1d8469-294381373#.VEmW6SJ4oRk

As recent trends have shown, many Christians are voting—but not from a Christian perspective. There are many reasons for this, including the fact that too many pulpits in Bible-believing churches have gone silent on issues that are considered “political.”

As a result, many Christians are confused. They desire to be charitable towards their neighbor. But they sometimes misunderstand how this is to take place, and, as a result, they vote for political candidates who advocate more and bigger government in the name of “compassion.”

Make no mistake. Christians are among the most charitable people in America. According to research from Arthur C. Brooks of the American Enterprise Institute, religious conservatives are the most likely group to give away money. This is because Christians believe in the Bible, which advocates charity. It does not, however, advocate being “charitable” with other people’s money. Brooks’ research showed that many political liberals, claiming to be compassionate, actually donated very little of their own money to charity—instead they advocated large government programs that used other people’s money, collected via forced taxation.

Being generous with other people’s money and property—which they had no choice in giving—is not charity. It is theft. The commandment given through Moses is clear: “You shall not steal” (Exodus 20:15 nkjv). For some reason, many Americans do not think it is unethical to take what does not belong to them from other people—as long as the government plays the role of middle man.

In reality, this is the basis of socialism. Socialism attempts to replace the goodness of God, demonstrated through the voluntary charity of His children, with forced government redistribution. And while most Americans claim to strongly reject socialism, vast numbers have repeatedly voted in favor of its softer forms.

The truth is, we are not entitled to anything we have not earned ourselves. The apostle Paul addressed this issue among Christians in Thessalonica. Because Christians are generous, there were some who were taking advantage, allowing other people to do the work. To them, Paul said:"… If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat. For we hear that there are some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, not working at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are such we command and exhort through our Lord Jesus Christ that they work in quietness and eat their own bread (2 Thessalonians 3:10b-12 nkjv).

If a politician were to say this today, he would likely be accused of hard-heartedness and immediately packed off to sensitivity training. Yet, in inspired Scripture, Paul calls each person to earn his own living and not expect to live off the labor of others.

Of course, there are some who have fallen upon temporary hard times and are unable to work. There are widows and children who have been dealt difficult circumstances. As Christians, we are to be sacrificially charitable toward such people. And, as Brooks’ research shows, on the whole we are.

But Christians should not participate in socialism: neither by receiving that which has been forcibly taken from others—nor by voting for it this November
