Evangelical Christian leader Franklin Graham warned Christians on Wednesday about the radical pro-abortion agenda of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
Graham, the president and CEO of Samaritan’s Purse and son of the late Rev. Billy Graham, is a strong voice for life among Protestants. On Facebook, he shared pro-life leaders’ warnings that Biden and Harris would be “the most pro-abortion presidential ticket in history.”“Planned Parenthood must be rejoicing,” he wrote, referring to the billion-dollar abortion chain. “Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are labeled as the most pro-abortion presidential ticket in the history of our nation.”
He urged Christians to be a voice for the lives of unborn babies, especially unborn African American babies who are aborted at a disproportionately high rate. “As a follower of Jesus Christ, I am pro-life,” Graham wrote. “I believe life is important, and every life is precious to God. No community has been more impacted by abortion than the African American community, and this should be a great concern to all Christians.”
Abortion is a major issue for Christian voters, and Biden and Harris are radically pro-abortion. Biden has a long pro-abortion record that goes back for many years, and he supported President Barack Obama’s leadership as the most pro-abortion president in U.S. history. What’s more, pro-abortion movement leaders say they “trust” Biden to protect abortion on demand. As the vice president, he supported the administration’s pro-abortion policies, including Obamacare, which forced religious employers to pay for drugs that may cause abortions. From 2001 to 2008, his voting record on pro-life issues was close to zero, according to the National Right to Life Committee.
Harris also has a 100% pro-abortion voting record and has defended abortions up to birth. Last year, the California Democrat said she supports women making the decision whether to terminate the life of their unborn baby even if that abortion occurs just before birth. She co-sponsored a radical pro-abortion bill that would have legalized abortions for basically any reason up to birth. Nicknamed the “Abortion Without Limits Until Birth Act” by pro-life groups, the bill would have invalidated nearly all state and federal abortion regulations, including waiting periods, informed consent requirements, bans on late-term abortions and sex-selection abortions and more.
Notorious in pro-life circles, Harris became well-known after she raided the home of undercover journalist David Daleiden, who exposed Planned Parenthood’s baby body parts trade. Harris was the attorney general of California at the time, and the state’s prosecution of Daleiden is on-going. If convicted, he could be sent to jail – even though his investigation led to the shutdown of two companies that sold aborted baby body parts.
Harris’s prosecution of the undercover journalists, while accepting campaign donations and other support from Planned Parenthood, was met with harsh criticism. Even the pro-abortion Los Angeles Times editorial board criticized her office for prosecuting journalists in a way that jeopardizes the freedom of the press, calling it a “disturbing overreach.”
Both she and Biden support forcing taxpayers to fund elective abortions by ending the Hyde Amendment. If they succeed, an estimated 60,000 more unborn babies would be aborted every year in America, according to research by Charlotte Lozier Institute.
Biden also said one of his first acts as president would be to restore funding to Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion chain in America.
Additionally, Biden said he would codify Roe v. Wade into law and nominate pro-abortion judges to the U.S. Supreme Court. In April, he even called the killing of unborn babies an “essential medical service” during the coronavirus pandemic.
Christians believe that every human life is valuable, from conception to natural death, because each human is made in the image of God, and abortion is evil because it destroys the life of an innocent human being.

Eunji* is one such refugee who came to know Christ in a women’s ministry supported by Open Doors and attended a Bible study regularly, eventually becoming a co-leader. Last August, Eunji was arrested by Chinese officials and was at risk to be sent back to North Korea and imprisoned. Many around the world prayed for her release. We recently heard from Eunji that her deportation process has been delayed—she has been released from detention and reunited with her husband and son!
