#355 (11/6) - Election Day 2012! - "Americans are Realizing It’s Time for Real Change"

As we hover over our computers, analyzing the polls, one cannot help but notice a shift to the right. States that were thought to be “blue” states, even weeks ago, are now turning “toss-up.” States like Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin have reached toss-up status, and that must be very unnerving for the Obama Campaign as they, too, must realize that the polls are a best-case-scenario for the ailing campaign.

Yes, America seems to have fallen out of love with the brazen, constantly truant Senator from Illinois. While 2008 saw wild Democratic turnout at the polls, I would not be holding my breath this year for anything even remotely approaching that number. However, considering that was the reality in the last election, many polls are using this outlier voter turnout in their calculations- a move that is inflating the numbers for an Obama Campaign that is already behind in both the popular vote projections and electoral vote projections.

2008 was unique as people craved to “be part of history”. Voters who had never felt like their votes mattered came out of the woodwork; college kids got off the couch and proudly voted for what would be the country’s first black president. However, as the “buzz” wore off, people still found themselves off worse than before and asked, “Where’s this change I heard so much about?” They had been taken for a ride.

Obama said all the right things, but delivered none of them. And now, here we are, four years later, and we are hearing how nothing is his fault. After four years, people have largely caught on, and while many may not be ready to vote for Romney, many are likely to just stay home. That changes everything.
While that would be bad enough for the Obama Campaign, the Romney Campaign is likely to have incredible voter turnout. Whereas John McCain could not compete with Obama, Romney can. His ideas are good, he articulates them well, and perhaps just as importantly, he’s not Barack Obama.
Romney has two kinds of voters: those that will vote for him because they like his policies, and those that will vote for him because they hate Obama’s. While there is significant overlap between these two camps, Romney has an enthusiastic base that is eager to restore sanity to Washington. Obama has Big Bird and Binders.

As former Clinton Political Adviser Dick Morris recently pointed out, undecided voters often favor the challenger. As we are seeing a greatly diminished Democratic voter enthusiasm coupled with fired-up Republicans, the Obama Campaign is likely to be in real trouble- especially when we consider that these polls are using faulty data that produces a best-case scenario for Obama, and he’s still behind.
My belief is that we will see a hefty Romney victory, and possibly an outright landslide. Let’s keep the momentum going and close this shameful chapter in American history.

P.S. - [from Mat Staver, Liberty [Counsel] Action PAC, Nov. 5] "Blogs continue buzzing over alleged [of course, to deny it would only draw attention to it] comments made by Valerie Jarrett, a senior adviser to President Obama and one of his closest friends, who was recently addressing other Obama senior staffers… 'fter we win this election, it’s our turn. Payback time.
Everyone not with us is against us and they better be ready because we don’t forget. The ones who helped us will be rewarded, the ones who opposed us will get what they deserve.'

Jarrett, who is considered the single-most influential person in Obama’s White House, says of her relationship with the President that the two think alike. 'We have kind of a mind meld… what he wants to do is what I’d want to do.' Jarrett’s alarming rant continued…'There is going to be hell to pay. Congress won’t be a problem for us this time. No election to worry about after this is over and we have two judges ready to go.'

...Valerie Jarrett’s comments are a chilling forecast of things to come for conservatives and people of faith if Obama is given another four years in the White House!''
