12/26 - URGENT PRAYER: The other day a Jordanian pilot's plan was shot down over Syria by ISIS terrorist fighters. They've shown pictures of the pilot obviously being beaten. (Remember, these are the savage Islamists who've already beheaded and otherwise executed countless people.) PRAY with me that the pilot (probably Muslim) will somehow receive dreams and visions from God that will lead him to turn from Islam and possibly turn to Christ. PRAY also for his tormentors to have dreams and visions from God to convict them of their evil and to turn from their violence.
Two New York City Officers Murdered. Here is an example of how a 13-year old can say things much more eloquently than too many adults. In the midst of all the protests over recent decisions regarding officer actions, people are forgetting the daily sacrifices SO MANY make. Especially during this season of the year, you would think people would pause to remember our PEACE officers. [Let's all be in prayer for this teen and the other members of the families grieving as we prepare for Christmas.]
NOW THAT THE ELECTION IS OVER:1) Let's be praying that God showed us grace in giving us representatives who will sincerely work to DO NO HARM to us and future generations. Let's also be praying that should He have chosen to give us those who WILL do us harm, that He extends mercy to us now and for the years ahead. His will is now done as far as the results we have. Now it's up to us to be diligent to hold those elected accountable!, and 2) Let's be praying that the present lame-duck session in Congress will not be allowed to pass legislation that will do harm to our country as they can easily do. (See post #1051 - 'Return of the Zombie).
U.S. Supreme Court has Reconvened: Let's be praying WHENEVER the Court is in session as their decisions can have impact on GENERATIONS to come. The fact that they may have an opportunity this session to actually vote on same-sex "marriage" where it has the same impact on this country that Roe v. Wade did should be motivating enough!
Of course, let's CONTINUE PRAYING FOR AN END TO THE EBOLA CRISIS IN WEST AFRICA AND THE HEALING OF ALL THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN INFECTED.

(LiveActionNews) — Monica Migliorino Miller and several other pro-lifers set up a display of aborted babies outside the abortion clinic where they were found. Miller and the others had retrieved the aborted babies from the clinic’s trash.
Pro-Choice columnist Linda Gorov of the Chicago Sun-Times wrote about the display:
"All the antiabortion pickets in the world cannot convey the loss you feel when you look at a 10 week old fetus in the bright sun light. You can be for abortion or against abortion. It doesn’t matter. You look and you look away and you feel lousy for a long time afterward. "
"This reporter 'feels lousy'” because she knows she’s looking at a dead body and not a clump of cells. There would be no reason to “feel lousy” otherwise. There would be no reason to be distressed over a clump of tissue. Instinctively, this reporter knows that the baby she sees is a dead human being, not just a surgical byproduct."[This is what happened to me the one time I'v seen an actual aborted baby. (The one I saw was almost fully developed and was covered with burn marks from a saline abortion.) It is something you are forever impacted by. - Stan]
"Seeing a 10 week-old baby with little arms and legs torn from his or her body by a suction machine is horrific. On my website, you can see a picture of the face of an aborted baby at 10 weeks, his mouth open in a silent scream. Even though many pro-choicers are hardened enough to block out images of aborted babies, many undecided and uncommitted people can be converted by them. They can also inspire nominally pro-life people to become more active in the movement."[This is what happened to me. I was "nominally" committed until I saw the aborted baby. - Stan]
One of the hardest things to understand, as a pro-lifer, is how some pro-choice people can look at pictures of unborn children with little arms and legs and fingers and toes, with little faces, and not see that they are people. Perhaps they know that they are people but refuse to admit it. Layers of denial must build up before a person can see a picture of an aborted child and still maintain that women should have unrestricted access to abortion. It can be hard to respond to, or understand, this hardness of heart.
Pictures of aborted children, or even demonstrations showing their remains, will sadly not be the magic bullet that ends abortion. But they are still an important tool, one that can unsettle even those committed to promoting abortion. [Ideally, I would love to have every church that says it's "pro-life" agree to have people 18 and over walk by an actual aborted baby before they entered the church sanctuary one Sunday morning. If that doesn't raise the level of commitment to where the term "pro-life" is not just a slogan but descriptive of their actions, I would be very surprised. - Stan]
