PLEASE PRAY: 1.) For the girls/women each day contemplating an abortion; the abortionists and their staff; the crisis pregnancy centers seeking to serve the women facing unplanned pregnancies. 2) For the passage of even more state laws that will effectively help to limit the number of abortions being performed. 3.)The defunding of Planned Parenthood that performs over 300,000 abortions (about 1/3 the toal) for profit and still receives almost 1/2 billion dollars in federal tax dollars. 4.) That one day America might finally pass a constitutional amendment promoting the Sanctity of Every Human Life - in effect oulawing both abortion and euthanasia. 5) For churches/Christians being pro-life- not just claiming to be but demonstrating it conclusively by their actiions. PRAY ALSO: For the passage of ''The Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act (H.R. 61)'' discussed below. In light of the second article below that speaks of the record number of abortions attributed to Planned Parenthood, it is insane that they receive a dime of taxpayer funds, bad economy or not. [Sadly with the Democrats in charge of the Senate and our most pro-abortion EVER, the bill is not likely to become law. (It has been introduced before.) It thus points out the need for America to finally elect a pro-life majority Senate and a pro-life President. Let's also be praying for this.]
‘America Deserves Better Than Abortion,’ b Breeanne Howe (Diary) |
As a woman, I believe America deserves better than abortion. America shouldn’t celebrate abortion and our taxpayers shouldn’t subsidize abortion businesses like Planned Parenthood, who profit from the destruction of human life with taxpayer money. In response, Planned Parenthood took to Facebook, shocked that Pro-Lifers still exist in 2013:
their fear of the year 2011 by linking to a blog post admitting that, “2011 saw the highest number of abortion restrictions ever passed in a year.” They noted that 2012 also made history with the second highest number of abortion restrictions ever passed. One would think that with all their research, Planned Parenthood wouldn’t find it surprising that 2013 is going to be a difficult year for them. Perhaps with the re-election of the most pro-abortion president ever, Planned Parenthood thought pro-lifers would finally give up. However, even Time magazine recently admitted that the Pro-life movement is on the rise. With this month marking 40 years since the Roe v Wade decision by the Supreme Court and the annual March For Life just weeks away, Planned Parenthood should know that the fight to protect the unborn has only just begun.
